Is it time to renew/update your IHSA basketball clinic requirement? 

Want to maximize your basketball Power Rating?

Do you want to learn or review three-official mechanics from some of the most knowledgeable referees in the area? 

This is the perfect clinic for you if you are ready to work three-person mechanics.  
(If you are in your first- or second-year, or just starting as an official, this clinic is probably not your best choice. 
Come and join us after you've worked for a few years.)

 

REQUIRED Classroom Session at Glenbard South High School

     6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017                                  Fee: $ 50

This required session will focus on high school varsity 3-person mechanics and all the IHSA clinic requirements such as professionalism, conflict resolution, and sportsmanship. No other date/time can be substituted for this session. If you miss or are late for this session, you cannot receive IHSA credit and your fee will not be returned. (You can, of course, still get feedback on and evaluation of your floor work.) Once your application is accepted, no other notice regarding this meeting will be sent, so mark your calendar NOW!!!!.

 

On-the-Floor Three-Official Mechanics Sessions will be held at:

 
Glenbard South HS Summer League

Mondays / Wednesdays

June 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

6:00 - 9:15 PM

 

Each clinic participant will officiate at least three games under the watchful eyes of highly-qualified clinic personnel. This is primarily an instructional clinic, and participants will receive extensive evaluation and commentary from experienced certified officials* and clinicians, both at halftime and post-game. Understand that no assignments from participating assigners are guaranteed.

Only the first 165  officials to submit paid applications will be accepted. On-floor scheduling will be done in the order in which applications are received, and will be posted on the ARBITER for you to accept. (You do need to be currently registered on our CHSBBA Arbiter site, which you have to be on in order to get any assignments, anyway.)
